Trust & safety on E12 Careers
E12 employer-posted jobs connect to company information. Government-source roles are labelled separately. Review the role, employer and application route before applying.
What we do
- Check the employer and source. Employer profiles show available company information. Reviews appear only where they exist; a profile or source label does not guarantee a job offer.
- Automatic screening. E12 employer postings are screened for fee requests, suspicious payment instructions, implausible pay claims and other warning signs. Government imports retain their source attribution.
- Human moderation. Anything flagged as high severity, and every first posting from an unverified business, is reviewed by a person before it appears in search.
- Reports pull jobs quickly. Three open reports automatically pause a posting pending review.
- Duplicate detection. Identical titles from the same location are flagged for review.
- Automatic expiry. Postings expire on their deadline so stale roles leave search.
- Honest badges. We show "verification incomplete" when it is. We do not claim every job is verified, because that would not be true.
Signals that a job is not real
- Any request for money — a processing fee, a training kit, an onboarding charge.
- A request for bank details, a void cheque, or a government ID number before an offer.
- Pressure to move to WhatsApp, Telegram or WeChat with a raw phone number.
- Pay that does not match the work, especially "no experience required".
- Being asked to receive and forward parcels or payments.
- An offer made without a real interview.
E12 never asks candidates to pay for anything. If a job on E12 asks you for money, use the report button on the posting. It reaches a person.
How AI is used — and how it is not
- AI explains, it does not decide. A match score is guidance. Hiring decisions belong to the employer; E12 matching does not guarantee a response, interview or offer.
- Job-related comparisons. Matching is intended to compare skills, experience and stated preferences with role requirements. AI results can be incomplete or inaccurate; check the evidence before using them.
- Work authorisation is yours to state. Candidates provide their own work-authorisation information. Confirm any relevant requirement directly with the employer; E12 does not provide immigration advice.
- Every score is explainable. You see which requirements you match, which you have not evidenced, and what to verify. There is no hidden number.
- Drafts stay drafts. Copilot writes cover letters and CV notes for you to edit. Nothing is sent on your behalf, and there is no mass auto-apply.
E12 Careers provides job discovery and matching. It does not provide visa or immigration advice or guarantees.
